Sandy Hodgson
Grades 5-6 |
Sandy Hodgson received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education
from Union College, Lincoln, NE. She
also has endorsements to teach a variety of subjects at the high school
level. Currently Sandy is teaching grades 5-6 at Vista Ridge Academy.
Before coming to Colorado, Sandy lived in Europe (Italy and Germany) for 10
years, where she and her husband, Greg, worked for Adventist
World Radio. Sandy and Greg have three children, Johnny, 12th grade,
Daniel, 9th grade, and Annie, 3rd grade.
Mrs. Hodgson's goal for this year: "I would like for students to understand their worth, to be proud of their achievements, and to string for excellence. At the same time, they will learn that God loves them and accepts them as they are and for what they can become in Him." Her favorite scripture is Ecclesiastes 1:2: "Meaningless! Meaningless!" says the Teacher. "Utterly meaningless! Everything is meaningless!"
"There is nothing more important than helping young people become positive, honorable citizens in our neighborhoods, communities, and country."
